Q: When should I begin calling people who haven’t  RSVP ?

A: Wait until after the RSVP deadline passes, then send out a quick e-mail to non-responders. Include the line “My caterer needs a final head count” to  create a sense of urgency. If you still haven’t heard back within a day or two, pick up the phone.
