Spring Wedding Attire

Both bridal attire and wedding party attire should be chosen in consideration with the weather in your area. In general, spring weddings dictate mid-weight fabrics for menswear, and lightweight, but full coverage gowns for women. This, of course, may be adjusted based on your location. Special consideration should be made if you plan to have the ceremony outdoors.

For the bride, flower detailing and color accents are popular during this season. A full train with a lot of fabric from the waist down, with a trim silhouette through the torso can create a magnificent, ethereal shape which represents rebirth in stunning fashion. Lacing accents which twist and turn up the body are another interesting way to relate nature and growth. In general, vertical lines which draw attention to the head and shoulders are flattering, even more so in this particular season.

The wedding party can take advantage of the vibrant colors of the season with bold accents in classic pieces. Groomsmen should consider vests or ties in emerald, amethyst, or carnation. For bridesmaids, again, flower silhouettes with long vertical designs work well. One can embrace the diversity of the season’s natural design by distributing an array of colors amongst the wedding party.
