Choosing a Right Venue for Spring

There are a few major choices concerning venue for a spring ceremony. The largest, and most difficult of these is deciding whether to have your ceremony outdoors. The best advice here is to talk to the owner of your desired location (church, park, cabin) and get their opinion on the reliability of the weather. Because the date is set so far in advance, you’ll have to rely on long-term trends to predict the weather. In locations with volatile weather patterns, be very cautious about planning an outdoor wedding.

That said, beaches, forests, valleys, and cabins are all beautiful places to hold a wedding ceremony. Most churches also have beautiful grounds which you can consider using during the wedding. Be sure that your venue provides sufficient parking, and is easily accessible to everyone attending. Finally, always have a backup plan in case inclement weather looms, as you won’t be able to reschedule the date.
